NeverWHERE???

Ever since someone told me in the playground that Finsbury Park could be pronounced backwards as Crappy Rub-Sniff, the tube stations of London have held a curious fascination. Share my delight, then, at this anagrammatical map of the ab-city.

(For some reason this link only seems to work as a two-click journey via tinyurl.com, on the Northern Line.)

ETA: The original link is no more, and others have apparently been taken down at the request of London Transport (joyless sods), but as of this update, it can still be found here.

I read that about Crappy Rubsniff and I was suddenly twelve again, with that peculiarly intense enjoyment of word play and the forbidden. How I enjoyed that!

Oh, that's glorious!

Oh, lovely. I used to work at Stoutening Honks.

I really like that! And I'd never heard Crappy Rub-Sniff before either. I could spend ages looking at those anagrams.

My favorite station is definitely Aleph and Tentacles.

I can't believe no-one has done this after more than 12 hours, but... *triumphantly, with an air of game-finishing finality* Concerning Torments.
