Since one or two people were curious, this is what a pack of Nos looks like. I was commissioned to buy some today to celebrate my daughter's boyfriend's birthday. Here I am taking a break from marking and tea in the cafe afterwards. As you can see, the text and imagery on the package is very whipped-cream heavy, but they still put it in a discreet plastic bag.



I was wrong to say that you get 20 in a packet. As you can see, it's actually two dozen. Or, a score and four more.

I did know that people used nitrous oxide recreationally, but until your previous post I didn't know whipped cream canister chargers were how you got hold of it! A ban sounds fairly bonkers, given the low risk to health and unlikelihood of social problems, but I'm kind of interested in what the enforcement plan is too: I can see internet catering supply stores experiencing increased demand...

Unless whipped cream is also to be banned, as part of the campaign against S&M in the dairy industry? It makes as much sense as most of what this Government does.

Well, you need a cream cracker to open the canister, and then you let the gas into a balloon (not directly into the mouth - that can cause freeze burns), and breathe it in from that. Or so I'm told.
