I have no memory of hearing Mr Murs' name before reading this post, but later in the day I came across it in a news item about his giving a concert at a county cricket ground. (Staging pop concerts is a common way for cricket grounds to bring in income.)

Most interesting dream I can remember recently was that the Royal Exchange were casting me as the lead in (I think) Hedda Gabler. I could not see that this was a good idea - I had little confidence in my ability to remember the lines, let alone act convincingly - but Maxine Peake was being very supportive.
