I'll try, I'm not sure how well thought through it is, or whether it's really helpful as lit. crit.; it's so personal.
Oh yes, I do get that, and I think it is quite commonly used for people of Asian and Native origin, but once certain very broad observations are made I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a term which means "all non-white people". Any more than "white people" is a terribly helpful term once you're past the primer stage. But, not my call.
