It takes a Global Village (to get these ratings)

A quick quiz on the origins of global TV franchises. That these are international shows is no secret, though I suspect that many are popularly regarded as domestic product, but where did they begin?

[Poll #1932383]

Dragon's Den - Japan
Big Brother - Netherlands
Who Wants to be a Millionaire - UK
The Apprentice - US
The Voice - Netherlands
The X Factor - UK
Top Model - US
Dating in the Dark - Netherlands

How did you do? Any surprises?

I don't think I've ever watched more than brief snatches of any of these. I was fairly confident about X Factor and Millionaire, but the rest were wild stabs in the dark. Talking about darkness, there's such a thing as "Dating in the Dark"? WTF is it? Do I really want to know?
