I love this book, and yes, I like this take on it. A change of genre for the outside viewer, Laura's family have certainly been knocked for a loop, but Laura has just stepped into her own self.

I recommended this book for my bookclub, and they all HATED it. Or, at best, were horribly confused. What does it mean? What is the author trying to tell us? Is it an allegory? Does witchcraft stand for women's emancipation and the vote?

(BTW, I seem to have missed this post 1st time round; just read it now because I was searching dreamwidth for Lolly Willows)
