It's pabulum, of course, much like my dinner, but I like seeing how the people interact. It was fun watching Richard Coles visibly try to master his ingrained competitiveness a week or so ago, for example. Agreed about the lack of date knowledge!

I also appreciate Mr Osman's custom - which he has carried over from Pointless - of turning to the viewers and congratulating us if we happen to get the answer right. He knows his audience.
