This makes me wonder why I never got around to trying the churros that are (or were) sold by unofficial vendors in the New York subways. I happily bought morir soƱando, a fine cinnamon-flavored thing, from vendors using makeshift carts on the sidewalk, on hot days. (THe main flavors of that drink are milk and orange, and the easy home approximation can do without the cinnamon and vanilla.)
