the last line has been needling me, indeed making me MORE angry, for the last couple of days... especially since I've been trailing all over perthshire in a 14-year-old car playing personal chauffeur for my 12-year-old.
no, i'm not angry enough to stop driving... or to stop sending my daughter to school on the school bus; or to stop buying food that's invariably delivered in a petrol-driven vehicle, even when it's grown locally.
or maybe I *am* -- only I *can't*. Sure, I could stop driving my 14-year-old car. But then I'd have to take a bus, which also uses petrol. my husband would have to quit his job (he rarely drives to work anyway). We'd have to grow our own potatoes, stop buying books and clothes, etc. We couldn't make our own with local materials. It is ALL transported here.
the country I live in *revolves* around fossil fuel. I'm stuck with it.

In fact, I'll just watch it again to confirm the extent to which I don't appreciate it.
