A Date That Will Live in the Infirmary
So, it's my birthday, and Robbie Burns's birthday, and also my grandfather's birthday. It's also, as I learn from
heleninwales, St Dwynwen's day. Today, by tradition, is the day that St Paul was struck blind on the road to Damascus. Do we not all have honest, sonsie faces? God bless us, every one!

If 'sonsie' compares our faces to that of a haggis, I'm not sure how much of a compliment it is!
If you've read my latest you'll have noted that hubby and I (he's a Scot) are not celebrating Burns' Night as we normally do because he's in Brussels at a conference.
First time in 17 years we've missed.
Harumph :o/

Also, don't go blind.

(Yours will now be one of the few non-family birthdays I am able to remember, as it's my half-birthday, in addition to everything else.)
