How curious. A few days ago lamentables had a dream about me singing a gory song and annoying Teresa Nielsen Hayden in the process. Then, last night I dreamed I was flicking through a TV guide, to find the face of fjm staring back at me from either side of the staples. She was going to be made the subject of documentary about her busy and varied life (not a bad idea, actually) - beginning with her early days as a sushi chef.

So, fjm - I tag you to dream about someone from your flist (I don't think chilperic counts for this purpose) and pass it on.

I had a beautiful dream that I was on a road trip with Matt Parker and Trey Stone, and I was going out with one of them. But I don't think I've dreamed about anyone on my flist lately - mainly I've been in boarding schools, for some reason. Including one for wizards and nurses. (In that dream it was prom night and I was trying to hide in the nurses' toilets from a marauding gang of drunk wizards who were poisoning all the water as a prank.)

Ho ha! (I started Timon the other night before bedtime, and was creeped out I set it aside, but I dreamed about that opening anyway, only it was me, no it was the kids, no it was some stranger but I was going to be blamed, all the while the beach lapping up and up and never receding....brrrrr! I think I will read the rest during the day!)

Now I can understand dreaming about Timon ! I did that too after I read it the first time...

Fortunately for me, I rarely remember my dreams - they have to be really, really vivid to stick in my head the next morning (though I've had one or two lately that I remember that were about a certain man in my avatar - clean ones, I might add! In one of them we were going to buy a house together on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border - which strikes me both bizarre and mundane at once!)

i just checked on the net for Charles butler witch just happened to be my husbands name he to is musically inclined the other Charles are his dad and our son what a small world.

Thanks for stopping by. This would be my electric banjo-playing namesake, I guess. Or are there even more of us? A chamber orchestra entirely composed of Charles Butlers would be a grand sight.
