
My own polling station was at the County Cricket Ground, but this sign was funnier. In the end I bit the
stubby pencil bullet and went for the Buggerall Democrats - swayed by a last-minute announcement that they would oppose the Stokes Croft Tesco. That reflects the finely-balanced nature of the choice, rather than my anti-Tesco passion. I'm not quite such Crofter that I was going to vote for the Independent
Danny Kushlick, who has the backing of both Mark Thomas and the People's Republic of Stokes Croft, and is arguing amongst other things that "MPs should have to wear tabards displaying the names and logos of the companies with which they have a financial relationship, like a racing driver".
But I was tempted.
