Legomania

On Sunday we made our annual Halloween trip to Legoland, racing back a little earlier than usual into the teeth of the oncoming storm. It was a windy but intermittently sunny day, and although my camera phone doesn't do it justice I was struck by the way the light caught the horizon from the viewing area near the entrance.

Disneyland has the Disney Palace; Legoland has Windsor-fucking-Castle (and we ain't talking Lego bricks, baby):



Meanwhile, what can rival the autumnal melancholy of a pair of leaf-strewn topiary kayakers?
