The ones in which someone looks ready to bite something seem overdone, to me.
Also, I wonder where "sneer" and "curled lip" cross. Sneers need not be supercilious, I think (though--speaking of crossings between media types--Rickman's Snape probably has had some influence upon a nontrivial subset of media consumers at this point).
