Is it really "highly likely" that Kanga will "end up older, blowsier, struggling to look after several joeys conceived in casual relationships with different fathers"? Say not so! Anyway, I much preferred Crews's vision of her as a smother-mother, emasculating the Lawrentian Tigger before sending him off with Piglet for a "sexless dejeuner sur l'herbe" [quote from memory - I must find my copy of the Pooh Perplex].
