Yeah, it's a tough situation, and I do get that. I tend to just call people whatever they want to be called, but realise that I am also not actually the target of steepholm's entry. (And I edited my comment JUST IN TIME, clearly! But as you have answered already. *g*)
Clearly the optimal solution is just for all of us to get to pick whatever words we like, and then attach them to ourselves, and everyone whose business it isn't to shut the hell up. ;)
