I'm not going to take you up on Hamlet either, but I bleeve (at least for teaching purposes) it is now thoroughly subversive to do a devil's party reading of PL, the orthodoxy being that slightly fishy (ahem) "Milton is beguiling the reader into sympathy with the devil only to pull the rug" thing. Satan is way sexier than Hamlet.
