I'm not particularly religious at all but I'm not stridently atheist either, and I do all the Taoist/Buddhist/general Chinese syncretic religion-y rituals when I'm at home. we have an ancestral shrine that I made obeisances to every morning before school when I was small. later on, in adulthood, my dad didn't make me do it anymore, but before very important things I still felt compelled to light up a couple of incense sticks.
