The masks I have are single-use, so I can't wash them. On the other hand, since the virus appears to survive only a day or two (at least on that kind of surface) I've been wondering whether they'd be good to re-wear if I went through them on a five-day cycle, for instance. I don't think that's optimal of course, and I've now ordered a couple of washable ones (being incapable of sewing), but in an emergency it seems like it ought to work. (Not a doctor, obviously!)
