They can't give figures for recovery, because they aren't testing enough to know how manyy people have the disease. You're right to say that the figures as they stand give an unduly pessimistic picture, because they are only testing the worst cases, so there are no figures for people who had a mild case and got over it. Whether this is due to cock-up or conspiracy is not for me to say ...
