I'm not sure when the last time was I got "Nihongo ga jozu"... not always asked about how much I've lived in Japan... perhaps people just assume, due to what's on my meishi or what they already know about me, that I should speak Japanese. Of course, it could also be that I'm not using my Japanese enough to justify any nice comments any more (especially for someone of my age or job status?). Anyway, I wish I were out in Japan too!
