Two isolated images are all that remain:

a) I was cycling round Bristol, using the cycle lanes, but kept being shunted aside by lorries. Frightening but in a plausible, real-life way.

b) Someone convinced me of the existence of God, using an argument from psychology (roughly, pointing out some human faculty that had no possible evolutionary function or explanation). Woke with the argument still echoing in my head, and felt like exclaiming, after Russell, "Great God in boots! The psychological argument is sound!" But then found, as Russell found with St Anselm, that it had soflty and suddenly vanished away.

By the way, as I should probably have mentioned at the start, I won't be plaguing my flist with this dream diary for ever. I just want to keep it up till midsummer's night, and see where it takes me.

My dream diary would have maybe two posts a year.

I'm training myself to dream with ruthless efficiency.

I'm not sure how one would go about doing that.

me too. Those who can't remember their dreams are doomed to repeat them.
