I can't remember whether I posted here about the racist Kill Bill style ad that was released earlier this year, which shows the EU as Uma Thurman, seeing off some aggressive BRIC stereotypes. If not, "enjoy":

I thought the EU couldn't top the offensiveness of that video, but it's just had a jolly good try with the trailer for its (otherwise laudable) campaign to get more women into science: "Science: It's a Girl Thing!"

So, that's racism and sexism covered. What will the next video be about, I wonder?

Science; it's a girl thing.

Oh, for pity's sake!

They're both just appalling.

What were they thinking?

1. Might have worked better if China was shown a placard saying Free Tibet.
2. Liked it, full of attractive wimmin.
As for enlargement we don't need it, deadbeats such as Albania, Bosnia?

So I take it that if the EU enlarges, it can defeat those nasty Asians, Blacks, and Muslims by ninja woo-woo magic? Exactly how is that supposed to work?

And, which country outside the EU is clamoring hardest to get in? Isn't it Turkey?

The science one is inept at its intended message. What it shows is: Girls gyrate over here, science goes on over there.

It looks as if the Science video has been hastily pulled. (Gee, I wonder why?)

In case you haven't seen: "No open-toed shoes in the lab!"
