I've been hoping that this sketch would turn up on Youtube. And in fact I see it's been there almost a year without my noticing... oh well. Once you get past David Mitchell's dodgy American accent, it's near perfect:

I knew that film way too early in life. People felt compelled to tell me all about it, for obvious reasons; and I natch preferred hearing about Rebecca over a singsong "Oh are you Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm?" So I did watch the Hitchcock at too young an age and get very scared. But now I'm glad I know all the references without having to watch it again. :)
