From what I've heard, Harlan Ellison is a... difficult person. Nevertheless, his rant about people who expect writers to work for free is something of a Youtube classic. A worthy rival has emerged, however, in the form of this classy take-down by Steve Almond.
Are there other contributors to this genre? Is there an anthology in it? Bagsy the royalties!

I've contributed for nothing more than a free copy of the book, but I didn't expect they'd sell as well as this one, and the editors weren't getting any $50K out of it, either.

The Harlan Ellison!!!!
