New evidence suggests that Stonehenge was actually flat-packed and rafted across from the Prescelly branch of IKEA. Who knew?

Happy St David's Day.

That's much funnier and less confusing than the earlier wording. Happy St Dafydd's to you too.

Happy St David's Day!

Today was the third day this year that I have felt profoundly Welsh...

I always end up torn between St George and Santa Chiara da Montefalco (part of my family originates from Umbria) so tend to celebrate my birth saint, Joan of Arc instead :o)

Out of interest what were the other two days?

It's a rugby thing... They were when Wales played England a few weeks back, and when Wales played Scotland. Wales won, therefore I am Welsh for the coming year.

It's nice when things are so simple.

Ah! Guessed it might be! My other half is a Scot so not too happy on that front at present.............

For myself, I'll simply observe that I could fancy Mirco Bergamasco :o)

My other half is a Scot and couldn't care less... This rugby thing is alien to him.

I passed this on to an archaeologist friend, who passed it on to English Heritage's Inspector of Ancient Monuments (London), who says "Oh that's fantastic, I've already sent it up to our Properties people for the new visitor centre!"

As D. says: Appreciation at the highest level: Thank you!
