Our f-lists overlap to a large extent but by no means entirely, so to those of you have already seen this appeal on

Date: 2011-06-15 12:34 pm (UTC)It's a book about the way the past is represented in children's literature (not just historical novels but fantasy, time-travel, alternative history, non-fiction, etc). We're doing it roughly chronologically, starting with the Claudian invasion, but using each chronological period to consider a different issue. With Arthur, the question is of course, how to you write about someone who may or may not be historical? (And yes, Silver on the Tree gets a small mention!)
