But having spent a very enjoyable morning touring the South Downs with my brother and mother, ending with a pint at the Devil's Dyke (from which the Hog's Back is very visible, I now learn), I want to share a new game to enhance any journey through idyllic countryside.
There are only two rules:
1) whenever you see a particularly beautiful view, say loudly (preferably so that you can be overheard by other sightseers), "And this is where they're going to site the new Tesco Extra?";
2) whenever you see an ancient windmill, sigh theatrically and exclaim, "Bloody windfarms!"
