I was watching the coverage of the Gurkha demonstration yesterday ...we've taken 25 years of their lives, put them into the most incredible danger, and then have patted them on the head, given them a pittance and told them they don't need as much to live on as British soldiers because everything costs less in their country.
Yes,that angers me more than the other case, as does the fact that their kids have to pay fees as "foreign students" to go to uni here - we owe them, damn it. Certain things ought to get you automatic citizenship of a country, and fighting for it is one of them.
