My Japanese teacher showed me a volume of Seinto Oniisan, a manga in which Jesus and the Buddha share a flat in Tokyo. It naturally reminded me of Jesus and Mo, in which Jesus and Mohammed (or his body double) share a flat in Britain. The latter began in November 2005, the former some time in 2006. Coincidence? I've no idea.

I suppose, being omnipresent but incarnate, Jesus may be able to justify these multiple pieds-à-terre, but do his roommates know about his complicated lifestyle?

Heh -- hadn't heard of Jesus and Mo. I can see why you thought of it, though.

Saint Big Brothers is hysterically funny, and I say that even missing at least half the jokes about Buddha. One of the few gag manga I didn't drop after a few chapters. At least one chapter does discuss the question of how many incarnations Jesus has.

This so makes me think of http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gotlib (real name: Gottlieb) "God´s Club", where all the grand world religion deities gather for a very wet party with girls and booze et al. Only Jesus does the party-killer by sitting in a corner whining about how nobody wants to play with him. Oh, and of course, South Park with that no less complicated liasion between Saddam and the Devil. I like, in the Gotlib (I was pretty sure it was Edika til I now looked it up again and found this http://lacanciondetristan.blogspot.fr/2012/12/countdown-to-christmas-1-gods-club-de.html which is why I didn´t find his God´s Club before...) version, how the neighbours finally complain and make the gods sigh: "oh, it´s those humans again..."
