Is it practical to use an QR code as an LJ icon (or similar), to take readers to a website? Would the resolution be good enough?

(I ask as someone without a smart phone.)

Based on pointing my phone at your icon for this post just now, yes. It took me to the Google search results for 'Barcode Inc'.

Excellent - thank you!

Once my plans for domination of the internet are full primed, this will make a great marketing tool.

Or you could just give us a link to click on. I keep thinking they're bloody ugly crosswords.

While I am now thinking of the sometime ISIHAC round, recognising products from a description of their barcodes. A sample:
Humph: "Thick black, thin white, thin white, thin white, thin black, thick white."
Tim Brooke Taylor: "Thin white, thin white, think white ... that must be the Bee Gees."

A friend saw the rabbit as a duck and misread the snout as a hood.

Ku Klux Klanger, apparently. I wish I were making it up.

If I could but find the URL, I can point you to other pictures of the Postgate plaque on my Flickr feed; javascript defeats again.
