Ice Cold in Sussex

It's my general policy not to post pictures of my children here, but these ones are in the public domain, after all. My daughter Charlotte got roped into a photo shoot at the magazine Title Sussex the other day...

How someone who eats as much crap as she does ends up looking like that I've no idea. I'd say it was a genetic lottery, but half her genes are mine, after all.

I was going to ask if she'd been allowed to keep any of the clothes / accessories, and then I zoomed in and looked at the prices on them, and I'm guessing the answer is 'no'.

I hope she has come out of it all with some prints she can frame, at least. I like to imagine her having them on the walls of her house when she's in her seventies, and visitors marvelling at them, saying things like "Gosh, look at those amazing early-21st century fashions!" and "Who is that beautiful girl in them, though?" while she smiles enigmatically...

I don't think she even has a copy of the magazine! She was only alerted to the existence of the photos this morning via Facebook, wasn't paid for them. It doesn't seem to bother her, though - I think she found it a fun experience.

However, I'm having a few prints done... She may thank me for them later.

Those are fantastic pictures! I mean, those clothes are terrifying. But she makes as striking a White Witch as Tilda Swinton. Third inside picture, particularly. I don't know if that's the sort of thing she would like to hear.
