steepholmMy son has got shingles, poor lad. Apart from a painful rash it's not affecting him too badly, but it does seem tough luck, since it's already his second time around, and he's only 12. His younger sister, betraying some Hollywood influence, has started to address him as Shingles II...
Oh well: this afternoon he enjoyed listening to the latest Mitchell and Webb radio show, available here. Favourite sketch featured a rule-obsessed copper being hauled over the coals by his superior for not actually catching anyone: "I may not get results," he snarls back a la Gene Hunt, "but by God I do things by the book!"
